Power Point
I don't like how on my Ultra you can't charge your phone with bike off, and you have to leave it exposed. So I wanted something for the trunk that was on all the time.
I did this to my FLHR, but will do it to my Ultra too. Problem with my Road King is I can't get the set off, with the tour pak on. PIA. I added a thumb screw. But I can't reach my hand in, so it doesn't do much good. Though I can tilt the tour pak back, and remove the seat screw with just my hand. The thumb screw is 1/4 20 1/2". One in the picture is a longer one I was going to cut to length but I found a 1/2. For a power point you need a fuse. What works good is one of the battery tender plugs. I mounted it to ground and main breaker, so I wouldn't have to deal with it, when taking the battery out. I would have preferred the battery side to reach to the back of the seat, tucking it by the saddle bag hinges. I did put a grommet in the hole in the tourpak. Fiberglass was to thick, so I cut the bottom lip of the grommet off. Tried to silicone it into place, but the silicone was old and crappy. I only had up the 1/2 drill bit. So had to file it bigger.

I took some measurements. Going to work on a better mounting system for the saddle bags. Those twist pins leave alot to be desired.
If Harley had as many engineers as lawyers, they would have a better bike.

I bought the power point for $9. Harleys is $35 or 40. I'll get the brand. Going to add one to my other bikes too.

That might work. On my Ultra I can stick a screwdriver in and loosen the screw, no problem. The detach kit on my FLHR is to tight.
