New Super Peanut tank installed, pics inside

Sanded down the center panel, wanted to give it that "distressed look"... mistake, I forgot about the bondo.

Screw it, I painted it again and used a dremel tool to knock the paint off the top of the welds, then cleared over them.... came out cool, I think. The side view looks stock which was important!

This thing is exactly as I envisioned it, width wise. I think it looks great on the bike.

i remember seeing it before on Xl-forum but cant recall the story behind it

Good friend, riding buddy and stand up Brother gave it to me. He used to have it on his race bike. It started off as a joke but has become kind of a trademark. More people know me by the dolls head than by name.

Preacher, I think the tank looks great. I really dig how it sits on the bike, the stock sporty tank would have looked dwarfed. I would have prepped the welds myself but I still think it looks GREAT.
