Family of fallen Polk County Deputy
Recently in lakeland FL while on a routine traffic stop a deputy and his K-9 partner were shot and killed by the driver of the car. This sunday the 19th there is a poker run in their honor with all the money going to the deputy's family. Its the "Matt & Diogi" memorial run. No wooden stake needed, when you kill a cop and run....you just became fair game for anyone with a badge and a gun. This guy was nuts. You if you decide to be a cop, the chance of getting killed is something you except or find another job. The dog on the other hand, was only doing what he was trained to do. They buried the office and K-9 together.

I think whoever missed the 30 times should have been allowed to reload and try again....but that's just me.

Looks like I'll miss this one after all. Both head gaskets blew on my sporty so I'll be working on that instead. I Don't feel too bad, at least the registration money I paid will still go to the cops family so thats cool. Better it happened at home instead of half way through the run.
