Big D and Fishbone break out!
BHO member Fishbone (man of few posts) and D blew off work yesterday and got a ride in. A little hot, but otherwise, when we cleared traffic in Indianapolis, a perfect ramble! Well, every ride need to start with a hearty meal, right? Yours truly...
 Fishbone, behind the heavy cruiser HMS Fish...  Thanks, girls! Good sports, all... Stopped in Bean Blossom, at the Bill Monroe Museum. O'l Bill would probably spin in his grave if he'd come back in September to visit. Right behind this building is the private campground where the Bean Blossom Bikerfest is held. Pretty quiet now. I looked around, but didn't see Smitty the Titty Painter... (see Easyriders August 2008 for a spread on last years' bash.)  Headed to Brown County State Park. Fish and I hadn't been there in years. We took a look around.   That's a lot of stairs for a couple of fat guys. Worth it.

We stopped for a pop by the campground store. Snapped a pic of this couple that rolled in on a Gold Wing trike conversion, waiting to check in the campground. I know ol' Buford sat there with Gladys in the sweltering heat for 15 minutes with this thing running. You could hear the radiator fans running. Bet a sawbuck this gal had a mobility cart from the scooter store in the camper. Hell- even their cooler had wheels! Buford shoulda drove the LeSabre... the missus didn't look well in the heat!
 We soaked up a little A/C ourselves in the Abe Martin Lodge. Here, either Fishbone is scrutinizing a map, or he's dozing...  Rode S and went over the same route the IN/KY run took through the Hoosier National Forest in '06, and stopped in Story for a pic or two.  Great ride!

Looks like a good ride. I'm planning on doing a couple of day trips in a couple of weeks. I might point my front wheel in the direction you guys took.

Glad you 2 ole fat boys [I ain't talkin HD here] were able to navigate all those steps, great pics and I can tell it was a great ride. Nothin better than a ride with friends or friend
