Little Ride to Granville
Rode to a little town in Middle Tennesee on the Cordell Hull Lake called Granville. Every year they close the town down and have Granville Days, vendors selling candles, canned food, demostrations of early life in Tennessee. This year I finally got to the Ralph Maddux Memorial Bike Show. Ralph was Harley Davidson in Cookeville Tennessee, and HD was just a little ole hole in the wall Dealership. There are two scooters on a trailer that Ralph restored before took to the skies in an unending ride. They also had a WWII enactment of which I wasn't paying any atttention to until they fired off the 50 cal which sent me about 4 feet into the air and looking for a hole to get into [thanks Uncle Sam for the tours in Nam]. Here are a few pics of the scooters in the show
