painting leather
my G/F is real artsy type. i was wondering what kind of paint can be used to paint on jacket. obviously there are easier ways of putting HD on my back like a patch but ive seen some jackets that were painted and it just looks better in my opinion. anyone paint? whats your paint recommendation?

An acrylic enamil , will work well, here is a link to a place that sells airbrush paints and supplies , that can get you hooked up with the proper sealers and paints.
Dixie Art & Airbrush Supplies Home Page they also have some decent tutorials for painting tins etc. and what to use on what materials.. keep us posted..

Ive dabbled a bit in leather work.... Ditto on the MrJimi speak, at least on something yer planning on using. It'll look cool for a bit but wont last. Leather Painting works ok for solid or fix objects... like mebbe saddle bags, tank trim. But, not on something as flexible and soft as a Jacket or other article of clothing.

I guess you should go with what MR.Jimi said then. You need to go to the clubchopper leather workers forum and ask them. They are all pros and I suppose you might get an answer you believe.
I do not know X's riding habits.
