52 years ago today Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper Richardson and Ritchie Valens died in a plane crash. Careers cut short but gave Rock & Roll one hell of a start.

I read a story years ago that said Waylon was fuckin with Holly and said he hoped the plane crashed and it really messed him up. Don't know if its true, but that'd suck.

I did see an interview with Waylon, that the crash bothered him, can't remember all the details.
