Brand fuggin' new American Delux with the vintage V-neck. Oooh...almost as pretty as a shiney blue sportster.

A good friend of mine has one like it, I think its a John Mayer edition or something. Anyway, I've played it and it's sweet. Good choice. What are you plugging it into?

The JM edition is a differnet critter; it's got a different neck, different fingerboard, different pickups, different tremolo setup...they're both strats though . It's incredible how many variation on the theme exist. It took a lot of research to figure out what I wanted. The N3 pickups are cool and the V-neck makes it very different from most. I've read that lots of people hate the way the V feels, but I played all the different shapes and it fits me best. Out of the 50-something models they make only two or three have that option...I've always been a little odd.

Right now I've got a cheesy G-Dec 30. I'll get something better when I save up some cash, but the G-Dec is fun because it's got a bunch of gizmos that allow you to play along with some rhythm sections. Like I said, cheesy, but I never get to play with a real band so it makes things a little more interesting.
