OK fellow New Yorkers, I am always on the lookout for new roads to ride, One of my favorites is a ride thru the Catskill Mountains in the fall from Hancock NY to Port Jervis. Twisties galore. I have family in that area and I ride there at least once a year. Also the lake road ride along Lake Ontario is pretty good in the summer.
Lets hear some of your favorite NY roads to ride. |

Here are a few of my favorites.
Route 73 from Underwood to Lake Placid. Runs through the Keene Valley. In addition to this route is route 86 from Saranac Lake to Wilmington. Follows the Ausable River. Phantom, I know that route you like. It's one of my I need to kill a couple hours ride. Love 20 from LaFayette to Cazenovia. Usually ride 26 to 80 and then over to Tully. Nice and Easy is my rest stop. I have several more, but don't want to spend all night writing them up.

Another route I just did this year.
Route 168 from Mohawk to Starkville. Really pretty ride. Hang a right onto route 80 in Starkville. Some nice scenery and it's uphill to route 20. There really are a bunch of great roads in New York.

My favorite roads are the one's around any of the Finger lakes like this pic shown of Canandaigua Lake taken up on the highroad just above Naples itself. Just don't forget to stop at Lock Stock And Barrel on route 64 just before Bristol mtn and tell Dave the owner you were just passing thru, great guy and a burly biker himself.
