I can relate there- the Sporty is just right, I can pick it up with just the damaged right arm. Sawbones was worried that if something went south, I would automatically grab it with the damaged arm, so I am making sure that I am covered. To lose use of that arm altogether would mean no more music, or other passions. So I am pretty happy with this bike. I rode a sporty for a lot of years, and did a lot of touring on it before I got the bagger. Be careful with that arm, if you rip that ulnar area, its almost imposable to get it repaired to where its even at now. Good luck with the weekend trip!
