I am Darhawk. I was steered to this forum by my good friend roadogette. Looking around a bit, I see here a lot of folks and friends I know.

First bike ridden was a junkyard Indian in the early 1960s. After owned/rode Hondas, Triumphs and more recently Harleys. Mid-60s, worked heavy construction and rode with a club of, at that time, undesirables. I'm old, somewhat cranky and have bad knees and a bad right hip. Last ride was a few months back when I blew the oil line to the pressure gage. Bike sits in the garage, tank and pipes off, waiting on me to finish the repair. When I retire, which comes as soon as the ranch gets sold, I hope to get a Harley Trike.

I own and work a Texas cattle ranch. Raise Brangus cattle and horses. I'm a Vet....served '67-'70. Other than that, I'll try to stay outta trouble, can't promise, but will try.

At present my ride is an '05 FLSTCI I bought new. Got a little over 16,000 miles on it, mainly racked up in Texas, New Mexico and Colorado. Haven't been riding as much as I'd like due to work. Prior to this ride had an '04 Sporty 1200 custom that I put 11,000 miles on and sold in '06.

I'd like to get the factory Harley Trike, if and when I sell the ranch, and if the financials work out..
