Howdy from the frozen north
Heard of this site from the XL forum site. Never rode until I took the BRC in July 2006. Bought a 2007 1200XL and have put 27K miles on that sucker since then. Why did I wait until my mid 40s to discover the fun of motorcycles? Riding is such a natural high that I can't believe I didn't do this earlier in life. Currently in a project to turn my sportster into a bagger. Hard bags are more in tune with the long trips I make. As I've found out, "water proof bags" aren't. When the loan on the sportster is paid off, I may get an electra glide classic or a gold wing. Until then, will force the sporty into touring me around the country.
