First metric?

Ok I can see this is mainly HD/American forum but thought Id post a pic of my other bike.
Its an 05 Royal star venture with vFour motor. Stock set up with twin k&N and Buck shot HD touring mufflers. She sounds like a small block Chevy and runs like a raped ape!
Took here all over the western US and down to Californai last year , very comfy for trips and run my new 06 Heritage rest of the time.

I have a Street Glide. a Low Rider, a 750 Honda, Shadow Aero, a 250 Honda Rebel and an 80 cc Yamaha. I have had three different Suzukis in the last ten years as well.

I am an equal opportunity rider and welcome all to ride with me.

My first bike was a Simplex and I have owned everything from a 1939 Whizzer to a new Harley.

Don't sweat what you ride. Only sweat when you can't ride.

All that counts is you choose to ride.

I bought my first bike with my own cash from a summer job when I was 15.

I bought a Honday Elsinor 125 on/off road bike. When I turned 16 and got my bike permit. I registered the bike and had a blast on and off the roads.

Then I had a string of street Honda's which I always enjoyed. I ended up going from age 30 to age 40 without any bike until I bought myself a 2003 Night Train for my 40th birthday!

I started on dirt with a YZ-80, YZ-125 and a YZ-250. Went street with an old Yamaha 605 bagger when I was 16 and went to Harleys at 18. I have had a few jap bikes in the interim but mostly just to fix and resell. Nothing wrong with being in the wind, no matter how.

I like the fab that people do to make their bike "their own". No matter the bike, ya have to love the work that goes into them.
