I have not heard that yet but I wouldnt be surprised that they would muster up the strength and backing to give it a go again.

They are supposed to be have a 2007 line coming out. Supposedly the guy that bought Chriscraft Boats (?) is bringing them back. I have heard they are planning on using the Powerplus 100 on the Chiefs, not sure about the Scout and Spirit.

I am not sure what the plan is for the comeback. I know that Indian of Phoenix just shut it's doors last week. I had to pick up a bike I had up there on consignment. I fell bad for the employees ....but my bike looked like shit when I got it back. I still don't have it running yet. If this is the way they intend to comeback.... I will stick with my Harley

They will never be considdered "TRUE INDIANS" because of the use of S&S motors and other "after market" parts. I used to own a 1959 Indian "Royal Enfield" when the Britt's tried to "save" them like "AMF" save Harley Davidson. That was the last of the True Indian Motorcycle!

My understnding is that they will all be fitted with the PowerPlus 100 motor. That will make them the real deal again. After they worked the kinks out of the 2002 models..it was a damn fine motor.
