My 74 Bug.
Just thought I'd post some pics of a 74 Bug my daughter gave me.
How I got it from London to Yorkshire.  Engine out ready for exchanging with re-con unit.

Engine tins shot blasted and powder coated.
 Cal look bumpers.  Rims powder coated with new rubber.  Re-con engine with some ancillorys fit.

Great gift from your daughter, hows the floor pans and sidewalls for rust, those ole bugs were and still are great cars. You a lucky dude, whats the horsepower on the new unit

Just been checking
1200 = 34bhp 1302 = 44bhp 1600 = 50bhp not sure how accurate this is! Quote from Wikipedia [Horsepower had been increased to 37 kilowatts (50 hp) the previous year, and for 1967 it was increased even more, to 40 kilowatts (54 hp).]

Looks like the bug we used to make Hash runs in Germany back in 83 LOL!

She looks to be in great shape body wise. Should make a fun little project. I've always wanted to build an old VW something and make some decent HP to have fun with.
