Future speeding ticket?

My oldest sons future speeding ticket. 350 SBC bored .030, Clevite 77 Main and Rod bearings, Hastings Rings, Edelbrock Performer Cam 204/214 Dur. 420/443 Lift 112* lobe sep, Cloyes Double Roller Timing Chain and Gears, Sealed Power Flat Top Hyperuetectic Pistons, and throw in a Melling High Volume Oil Pump. The Heads will be 305 heads with new Valves and springs. The smaller chamber on the 305 heads should bump the compression up a bit with the flat tops to around 9.5-10.0:1. Cool thing about all this is....I just get to supervise while he does all the work.

As soon as the weather here in IN breaks, we will be putting it in and start the break in process. All in all the young 16yr old did a fantastic job, paying attention asking questions and over all enjoying himself.

Thats not a beater! that malibu looks to be in terrific shape. Rear ratio does it have?
I had two elcaminos one was an 83 and the other an 84 one had 308 posi and the other had 373 posi and both used the same engine and trans a 350 4bolt with edelbrock intake and carb with electric fuel pump and hooker comp headers into flowmasters dumped before axle. I liked the 308 rear much better than the 373's. plus got a lot better mileage. The 373 just spun the rear wheels like an IROC with bald tires in the rain.

3:73 Locker. Has a 305 in it now, I can out run it on foot and I smoke. The Malibu is in damn good shape, needs a couple body bushings, but the rear frame rails is in good shape. Also needs some door pins and bushings, just a few small problems nothing he can't fix. Interior is in perfect shape, nice older Chevy. I still don't understand why he has 2 12" Kenwood Pro Comp Speakers, 1 10" JL Audio speaker, 4 6x9's (Alpines), and a couple tweeters, 1,000 watt Alpine Amp, 800 watt Pioneer Amp. With all that he should be able to turn the stereo up and let it propel the car huh? Kids

For body bushings i used hockey pucks. also box the upper rear control arms and poly bushings. except for the easy powerslides that would occaisionally turn to a spinout my elkys handled pretty good.
