Lake Superior
Planning on going across the Ontario side of Lake Superior this weekend. Done it before. But felt like doing something. Last minute. Was planning on going home to see my Grandparents, so I thought I would ad this on.
If I have time, maybe run up to Copper Harbor and Brockway Mtn. Of all the places I have been its still one of my favorites. Was going to go with my rear that had 9k, but since I added this, pulled it tonight. Been bleeding brakes, hopefully test ride tomorrow proves acceptable.

Plan is to spend the night in Sault Ste Marie, MI, its cheaper the SSM ON. Then maybe Thunder Bay. Don't like big towns, but hopefully easy to find a room. Might even be cheaper then the little tourist places.
Only planning on night in Canada, cheaper, and time constraints. Not sure if I will get off the beaten track, I haven't had time to research this. Just popped in my head this morning. Taking my 01 FLHR. Been 4 years since I took it on a real trip, since I got the Ultra. This may be the first trip I ever took, that I won't be taking chaps.

Didn't get to many pics last time, was with my Dad. This one is off the balconey of our room, in a small village. No bar, they said, drunk driving laws shut them down.
Supper expensive little bed and breakfast type place. Hate B&Bs. They had local fish. They said cold water changed the flavor. Was good dunno if different. East side there is a 80 miles stretch no gas, out of Wawa. Gas stations were backed up, so I said I'll get gas next town. Next place was a garage, that I was lucky was open. 1/4 gallon left.

Lake Superior is a nice ride. I have zero interest in Lake Michigan.

Always wanted to do that stretch between Thunder Bay and Sault St Marie on a bike. Beautiful scenic ride. Done it twice in truck pulling livestock in November. Treacherous time of year for that road. Semi's jackknifed on the hills, storms come off the lake are brutal

I've been all over both sides of lake Michigan. Superior is definitely more scenic. No pictures to post yet, hopefully sometime this weekend.
