Crossbows
North Carolina now allows hunting with a crossbow during regular bow season on private land. This means I am in the market for a crossbow. I have never shot one and looking for advice on a good one and any special advice about them.

I've thought about them for poaching, looked at a few, but thats as far as I've gone.
They would probably be fun to play with too.

I seen many bow hunters this weekend. Bow in one hand and a beer in the other. Must be some kind of opening day thing because I seen four guy's sporting that same shit, beer and a bow...

In MI its 10/1 and WI 9/15.
Maybe this was in protest to CA strict firearm laws.
