Pretty much sums it up but there's enough at Davenport for a 2 hour documentary. The history and rivalries of the bikes you'll see in the racing pits could easily cover an hour. The history of the bike show bikes could be another hour and their restorations could easily fill much more than that.
The restored/unrestored bikes out in the booths, the new old stock for so many brands. The guys making aftermarket support like flathead power, coker, the various leather makers. If ya stop to talk to just the people with interesting stuff it takes two days to get through the show. Wauseon is near Toledo and almost as big. They started the flat track races this year there as well. I may go to both meetsl next year. I didn't see the guy that wiped out last year on the 8 valve at this year's Davenport meet. I wonder if he changed meets?
