Grips Q
How hard is it, for a non-mechanically inclined guy, to exchange grips. Is there a lot involved?
If you've done it, how did it go?

The right grip on the other hand is not as easy, you'll have to disassemble your hand controls to get to it and ensure the throttle is hooked up alright to the new grip. I did it myself, it took me an hour or so to do them both. It's probably gonna be alright for somebody like you to do, just reserve a BIG block of time, and be prepared to curse like a klown while you're doing it. If you change your own oil and changed the battery, which you have done, then you should be able to do it. Might as well change the hand levers while you got it dissassembles, be carefull for those circlips in there though, they fly off really easily and get lost.

Oh BTW, I hope you have the service manual, It's been a while since I did this I might have missed telling you about a step. If you don't have it, lemme know I can take a pic of these pages and email them to you.

You know that you should have the manual, Don't drop the little brass things in the throttle side, put a sheet under it
