Big Trees
Took a little trip a few days ago with a few neighbors. They were begging me to ride with them. So I told them I was heading up to Big Trees State Park if they could keep up, they could go!

Awesome pics and awesome trees!!! I love them!!! Definatley one place I gotta ride to before I die also!!! I let my son see the tree pics too and he said he is goin with me when I go..he loved them too.... Bet you had a really nice ride...sure looks like it...

Yes, it's a great ride! A great place to visit. I love the foothills. I strongly recommend visiting the Redwood Forrest or Avenue of the Giants on the Northern coast as well. The little boy and his sister were following us all over. They finally asked me to take their picture.

I'll second that,I ride the Redwoods just about every year at least once. I took some coastal redwoods home but they didn't survive the harsher climate up here on my mountainside in WA. I also planted some Sequoias,they love it here and are growing very fast. I may try some Redwoods again by starting them indoors for a couple years first till they are stronger and with a better root system started. Great pics,thanks for sharing,I love big trees.
