I hope and pray for a full recovery for this firefighter. As you scroll down and read comments from one person. He states what kind of message was this firefighter sending. High rate of speed, no helmet, I have to agree what kind of message is this sending. We as riders have enough out there that is against us already, image by the press, outlaw gangs, loud pipes [I'm guilty]. So I'll probably catch alot of flak for posting this but l don't really give a rats ass. We need to be more responsible for our actions especially when we are on our scoots and in the public eye. Doing toy runs, raising money and doing good by others gets shot down by 1 bad turn. People don't remember the good just the bad. Article didn't say if the firefighter was avoiding an animal or someone making a turn in front of him, just high rate of speed and losing control of his scooter. While I hope and pray for a speedy recovery will he in fact learn from his own actions. Is he actually a long time rider or a weekend leather clad wanna be. Doesn't matter WE are responsible for our actions they reflect to the public and the public and law makers respond. Freedon ain't free we pay for our freedom and loss of freedom.

He's a firemen. Not like he was riding to fast, when he should have stopped dropped and rolled or smoking a butt with open gas can strapped to his bike.
