January SuperShow 2009 ***Dial-up Warning***

Prelude: to anyone who's read this on the XLForum already, you can skip this. It's the same damn thing, but with one or two more damn words, damnit.

The Toronto Supershow was this weekend. It was advertised as the largest one in North America, and I believe it. Story-wise, there isn't much to tell. I went with a few people; you won't know any of 'em, so I won't bore you with those details. Besides, pictures are worth a thousand words, right? Well, I had a ton of those; I'm only posting up 20 or so to keep it manageable. So, without further adieu...


Johnny Pag Red
These are those little 300cc jobs that we all read about.



Johnny Pag Pink (kinda like Johnny Walker Blue)
There's an inside joke behind this one.



1925 Henderson
There were plenty of classic bike pictures that I didn't post; this one caught my eye. I especially like the damn shifter and sidecar. I told you there were more damn words, didn't I?



Lucky Bike
Very Vegas/gambling themed. Even the windscreen is in the shape of a spade. Unfortunately, I couldn't get to the other side of it to take a frontal picture (it was roped off, damnit).



LEAFERS!!!
Well, only one Leafer. But you have to admit, it's a damn cool (and original) paint job! (Bonus points if you get the 'leafer' comment.)



Last Ride
Look at the info sheet on it (you'll need to zoom in). Other than the frame VIN, I don't think anything on it is original.



Red & Black Custom
Don't know anything about this one. I just thought it was a cool looking ride.



Race Car
I can tell you a million other things about it, but it really doesn't matter. Unless you're a pilot, this is faster than anything you'll ever steer.



Spider-Bike
Spider-Bike, Spider-Bike, does whatever a Spider-Man does. Can it swing from a thread? No it can't, it's a bike...
(and the gold webbing is actually red. It just looked gold from the flash.)



Scorpio Sportster
The requisite Sportster in this thread. It belonged to one of the chicks from the HOG's (no, not the Niagara Chapter). The name "Scorpio" was her idea, not mine. As you can see, she has a scorpion painted on the oil tank.



Two Harleys
I just liked the picture of both of them together. The one on the left has a lot more custom work done to it (I've got a pic of it, but I'm not posting it here. If enough people gripe about it, I will later, but I doubt it'll become an issue).



Ural with Sidecar
Not sure why, but I always dig Urals. Especially ones with sidecars.



Yellow Wing
I like the bike itself, but the trailer is what really caught my eye. You'll see it later.



1971 Dodge Challenger
Other than the fact that it's day-glo pink, how cool is that ride?

Yeah, sure you did. I saw this one when I was leaving, and I just started laughing.

I don't even know where to begin with this one. What the heck would you even register this as?

You know me; I'm not much of a racer. But this one more than caught my eye. If I ever found myself going to the dark side, this is the one I'd go with!

Yes, there's your friendly neighbourhood ghost, blushing like a schoolboy. I swear, my face is a freaking divining rod for pretty women; the closer I get, the redder my face.
