WTF?
Riding into work this a.m. I saw a soldier stopped on the side of the road on a Harley. I pulled over as fast as I could, right at 31W and Hwy44, anyway I walk back to him and asked if he was broke down and he said no that a Red F150 just hit him. I asked where cause I did not see any damage to his bike or to him and he said he sideswipe his left arm( I guess with the mirror) and that he did not stop. I ask if he was alright to ride and he said yes and that he had called the police and was waiting for them. He said that it just happened, I told him Fuck the police it will take a hour for them to get there lets go catch the fucker that hit you and beat his ass! I guess he must be a pacifist, he did however decided not to wait for the police and rode on in with me up the hill. It was foggy I had my blinkers on for safety and while I was standing there talking to him a couple of bikes rode past but did not stop. What is wrong with people? Hell I know they saw us. He seemed to be OK just shaken up a little. Look out for assholes out there, they are everywhere!

Shit like that makes me glad I always wear my big brogans. Those suckers will leave a hell of a black streak on the side of any offending cager...

good thing he wasn't laying on the side of the road waiting for a ambulance.. i don't always stop, But i do assess the situation, you know check for a nod a thumbs up or whatever?

I wonder if the asshole that hit him with his mirror even knows it. I'm sure it was some dude making a work call on his cell and not paying attention.

If it's safe and I think the guy is broken down I always will try to stop but so many times I have stopped only to have the guy say I am making a phone call, or decided to have a smoke or they are waiting for their buddies. In Jersey traffic you sometime take your life into your hands trying to pull over to help someone, you would think they would atleast have the coutesy to wave you on or give the thumbs up, or wait until they can pull off of the road to do what ever it is they want to do.
