just a little taste of wind
After a nice supper of angel hair pasta, sweet Italian sausage and a nice tomatoe sauce, I went and fired the scooter up. Headed up to Seacoast HD and bought a pair of clear goggles and got by cheap [well at least for a HD product] as I misplaced my clear goggles someplace. Anyways needed to settle the pasta so I stopped and had a ice cold draft bud just 1 mind you I'm ridin. Took my time sippin the suds and listening to the shit going on around me and decided it was time to go. Go where? Well I started out just to go down 101 towards Manchester but ended up going 286 to Rt 1a or the beach road and did a little slow posin towards Massassachusetts for about 10 miles. Got damn bored with that and as it was getting towards sunset I found the shortest route to I95 north. Stopped to let the Bud out and this little kid about 4 was eye ballin my scooter so I asked if he wanted to set on it. Big ole grin and he said yes, now I did ask his dad if it was alright and the answer was a big nod yes. let him set there and play with the handle bars and man could you see the sparkle in his eyes. When I took him off him and his dad were walkin away and he was tellin his dad all about the motorcyle. Anyways got to I95 about 20 miles south of the Hampton or 101 exit and let the scoot have some rpms temp was 71 or 72 no humidity and the scoot was flyin with a little help on the throttle. Man what a way to relax. Didn't take to long to do the 20 miles but hey there is always tomorrow and Sunday. Didn't put on 50 miles but had one hell of a time wish someone could have enjoyed it with me.

Good to get out and relax eh Snuff?
Wish I could have been there with ya. We need to get together for a beer and lunch in BG one weekend before it gets too chilly. And we have need to find that same little bar and hopefully the same cute little waitress will be there. BTW.......where are those pics from that day?

Sounds like a good one Snuffy. Gorgeous day in the Upstate of NY. The manager of the local H-D dealership has been doing a ride with Steve once a month. Am on vacation as I leave for Milwaukee on Tuesday. Took today to do this ride to the Adirondacks. Clear and warm. Just perfect a ride like this. Almost 330 miles for me. Good fun with some good friends.
