one hose pumps
most people are pumping 87 octane ,i have to use 91 or better according to my owners manual. how much 87 is in that hose before the higher octane that i want is going in the tank? around here we have 87-89+93 so i put 93 in,only put in a couple gallons at a time so half of it could be the lower octane.anyone savvy on how gas pumps work?

The first part of the email (tips for pumping) is probably true, though. |

we also recover 100% of our vapor, the vapor is sent through a condenser and turned back to liquid the tank the liquid is in fills up fast and we pump it back to be used again so, (i belive) the vapor part is true also

I usually pump gas in the morning cause i wanna get home early and usually get gas either from BP or Hess because they usually have the cleanest stations around. My dad worked for sunoco(assholes) so i rufuse to buy gas from them, i dont care what their price.

Company Level Imports
If ya want the data on who buys from whom click the link above and open the .xls file. You can sort it in lots of interesting ways to find out what you want to know. I don't know about the fill-up technique issues, but the other stuff is public information (for whatever that's worth).
