Buddy's big score
Meet Buddy the Wonderdog...
 He's a 3 year old border collie/lab/mutt mix we got as a pup for nothin'. He's the most lovable, harmless, spoiled, coddled, gentle doggy in the world. He's afraid of absolutely everything: other dogs, the sweeper, grocery sacks, wind, thunder... the works. This morning, I let him out in the back yard. He usually does his thing and hangs out for 5 to 20 minutes or so, then wants in. He was out for some time, so I went to check on him about dawn. He was at the back fence, burying an enormous freshly dead possum. And he was a bloody, muddy, stinking mess. And happy as a clam to boot. We threw him in the tub to clean him up, and was relieved to find his nose was bloody as a result of him scraping dirt and rocks over his prize with his nose, not a fight bite. I was remembering Lager's sad story about his Russell. Anyway... Buddy 1, possum 0

I got really scared when i started reading this thread. Good thing Buddy is ok.
I lost count of Possums, squirrels, and bunnies that jack had eliminated. Watch out for groundhogs and skunks though.

The little one is one eyed Rossi. She lost a fight will a put bull and also her eye. The lab is Bonao, my total bud go anywhere dog.

I knew it was just a matter of time before he killed, the last time I was at Dave's place Buddy tried to rip my hand off of my arm with his tounge, pure visciousness!

Good for Buddy. My late husband had a small mix breed. He'd bite tires when you pulled in the driveway, chase cats, etc. One day we watched him out back in the field kill a woodchuck. It wasn't just zoom in and attack,it was get him from one side and then come in from the other side. He was good at it.
