I have a 75 lbs Giant Schnauzer and two miniature schnauzers. The little girls have always been hunters killing squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits and even a 25 lbs ground hog. Sam our Giant never killed anything we know of until about a year ago. Came out in the backyard and she had killed a rabbit and ripped its head off. She saw me running toward her to take it away and attempted to swallow the entire head to keep it from me. In the process she started to choke so I had to reach down her throat, grab the rabbit head by the ears and extract it. Haven't seen her kill anything else since.

Buddy the Wonderdog update
Today's score...
Buddy 4; possums 0!  At dawn this morning, I thought he was long coming in... he was cheerfully disemboweling another possum. Buddy got a treat, and a Memorial Morning bath. Woo boy, did he stink!  Good boy!

LOL sounds like buddy found something he likes haha....dogs are trip!
Hey lager...heres my jack/fyst mix. the only little dog i've ever owned (if you can call 35lbs little....he's a fatty)...he is obsessive about killing chipmunks, squirells, mice etc... in the pic i'm fixing to post, he's on top of the brush pile trying to get to a mouse from the top LOL...he ran around that pile literally for hours....he usually gets what he's after too. my folks were here a couple of weeks ago and my mom say's "eewww whats this in the floor" (of course he did it when we had company)....i go and look andits a big wad of grass encapsulating an entire chipmunk LMAO...he swallowed it whole and then puked it up in the house....lttle fucker lol...let me go find the pic of him....
