Good Day, Bad Day
Well gang today has been a good day in some respects for me, and a bummer in others.
I took a EPA test today for handling refridgerants. I'm going for a different job at work. I've been in class all week. Been interesting. Won't know til next week how I did on the test. Bad part. A friend of mine lost her son Wednesday in Iraq. He's friends with my BF's youngest son. The boy was only 21 years old. He was on his second tour. He was wounded last year and could have opted not to go back. Being the true blue soldier that he was, he went back. His name was SPC John P Sigsbee. His mom is a good friend of mine. Saw her tonight and she is holding up well.

Sorry for the loss!! Such brave men (& woman) going over there to serve the country! thoughts and prayers to friends family! Be proud!!!

That's very sad news, Susie...one of my sons is that age and I always think about how I would react if he joined the military and was killed over there...
Do you think your friend might consider having the Patriot Guard Riders honor her son?...I find it quite moving when I'm part of a PGR mission and I'm sure the family appreciates our presence...just a thought...I'm sure your weather isn't very conducive for the bikers, but I believe they have contingency plans for poor weather...

Sizie, the different job opportunity sounds great! Here's hoping the best for you on that, and also hoping your employer has continued success.
Sad about that brave soldiers' death. As with Hooty's wifes' family member, we often forget there are still young people fighting and dying.
