Ebay Etiquette: Reporting a deadbeat seller
Just curious how other people have handled it...
How long does etiquette dictate you wait before filing a Complaint against someone for Non Delivery/Communication after winning a Bid?

Depends on when it should have been delivered. Email and find out what the problem is, if you get to the point where you think you've been had, nail the bastards to the freakin wall!!

If it was from a store, look in the store for contact info, like a phone# and give em a call. I would give em till the 26th, that's 2 weeks, if no response by then let ebay nail thier ass. Send em a few more emails so they definately know you are trying to contact them.

yea 2 weeks is what Im thinking.
Unfortunately there isnt a Store, and his last Feedback entry was October 30th. I sent him emails thru PayPay and Ebay respectively (same email addy though). ....well see.

What was their feedback prior to this? If it was positive, then it could be that they had some issue come up- family emergency, etc? At the same time, that's for them to worry about and not you. If at the end of two weeks, ask ebay for a refund and perhaps just don't leave any feedback.

File a claim through PayPal. You should be able to at least get your money back. I think they offer claims for merchandise over $25.00. It's been so long since I've had to file one.
