Sidecar

Been thinking on getting a sidecar and have looked at all the makes via the net. Reason is so the little lady can go with me on a few rides. Both of us don't fit on the sporty and I don't have bagger blood in me as of yet. Anybody ever ride with one attached if so whats the handling like. give me some pros and cons.

Well I've never riden with a sidecar. But a buddy of mine restores old BMW's has one with a sidecar. He says they are tricky to drive. When all wheels are on the ground you steer your front wheel like a car. When the sidecar wheel is off the ground you have to use counter steer. He says it can change really quickly.

Yes only because of the offset of the side car wheel...
turning on a trike you have to slow your roll before actually turning the bars.....entering too fast will result in a 45 degree turn over to the outside of the turn or 45 degrees from your seat position.
the first time i rode the wifes trike it realy screwed with my head some....
by the end of the second turn around
i figured out leanin into the turn does not help at all........
it nearly requires a different mind set.....
