Ever done something stupid
But realized it a split second too late!? At work today, been an ok day until around 2pm. Lifting a dirt packer (plate tamper) from the back of a truck with my autocrane to load it on my truck. Just about done and the 40 or so pound handle (about 3" in diameiter) and solid steel comes loose and drops down. Catches me on the front left side of the head. Split the skin back and put me on my ass. Now I know what it feels like to be on the receiving end of a "standing knockout". Never went out, but damn it hurt!!!!!! Had just taken my hardhat off and stuck it in the truck<----the stupid part.

Heck ya, we have all done stupid crap like that! Have you ever noticed your first reaction is to look around to see if there are any witnesses! LOL It takes balls to admit our stupid antics and post them in a public forum! lol
