Having a CDL and driving nights I haven't even had a beer in over 3 months let alone smoked anything.
I don't feel like drinking when I get off work at 5-6:00am and it's out of the question after I get up having less than 10 hrs before work. Random drug testing rules out anything else,life is what it is though and I'm just glad to have a decent paying job in this economy. 1 beer can get you in trouble driving a truck,we're held to a higher standard at .04% rather than the standard .08%. Been too busy for any fun time on my weekends so I've been a tea total-er for a while now but life is good. We're going to try and build a new home while interest rates are super low and builders are starving for work,no better time than now if one can afford it.

I had a buddy. Who used to be so drunk, the guy where he loaded up would drive his truck out of town, and then he would take over. There were times I saw that, he must have been hung over, or atleast not alert, and getting up to leave.
I know it sucks being held to higher standard, but being on the road with ya I am glad.
