Maybe the MoCo should insert in the owner's manual, "Do NOT wear polyester pants while operating motorcycle which could result in loss of vehicle control and death or serious injury"!

Sounds to me like 4 Numbnuts trying to skirt the emission laws so they could carry out *upgrades*. Decided they were on to something with EPA Restrictions on AirCooled engine heat being *less* Eco...and failed to see what their idea would evolve into after the Lawyers got a hold of it.
or they ARE just pseudo-intellectual numbnuts with a serious lack of common sense.

My 88 was hot when it was stock. New pipes, air cleaner, powercommander properly tuned, synthetic oil and believe it or not a black (not chrome) oil filter and my temps are nice and cool. Oil temps around 110 or under even on hot days.
I don't want a water cooled bike and at this point would not own one. If you want a water cooled bike buy a Honda.

I'd buy a water cooled Harley, 2nd or 3 rd year model. I would hope they would make it like a Harley and easier to work on.
Either, I want something made in American, which doesn't mater to some mother fuckers, but it does me. I work and live in America.
