Razor got here today,it was supposed to come with mixed assortment of of 5 free blades,but nice surprise... it shipped with 11 free blades:1 Merkur blade in the razor's box and an additional Merkur 10 pack.
 Did a fast test run to check it out and get the hang of it before tomorrow morning.Merkur Razors and blades are made in Germany.When I run out might try Wilkinson blades in for a while cause they're easy to find at Walmart.I hear blade quality makes a big difference,if the Wally World blades aren't as good it's easy enough to order a supply of any blade I perfer online.  Good so far-Effortless,much sharper.real close smooth shave with a lot less work.Got to respect anything that sharp,used a lot of caution but seemed easy enough to work with. Gonna take a while to know what's up for sure,was prepared for a possible let down but think I'm gonna be really pleased with it and keep using this style razor,time will tell. Next to a Mach 3 you can tell how short the handle is,made sense to me when I was deciding which one to buy,seems to provide more control.

The best shave comes from a well sharpened switchblade. I like straight razors, but when versitillity comes to shove........................a switchblade comes out on top each time. And I've three scars to prove it.
Though my Indian knife can take a scalp any day.
