Damn ticks
I went up to N WI/UP to look at property. 40s, one more a camp and one a house.
Got about 10 miles away from the last one. I see ticks on my legs. Pull over there are 5-6 six on the outside of my pants. I take my pants, boots, and socks off in the road. 5-6 more inside my pants. I sprayed with dope too. I most have had 20. The rest 1 at a time over the next 3 hours. Where the fuck do they hide. I went into bathrooms a number of times looking. I checked before I got in the truck too. Those fuckers creep me out, cause then you keep feeling things crawl over you. Sometimes nothing is there, sometimes a tick. I wonder what the cars driving by thought, when I was stripped on the side of the road. I think one came back.

Chiggers are little varmits we have here in the south, about the size of a pin head you can barely see them. But when the bite they will cause you to scratch and drive you crazy, rather have a tick than chiggers. Come down when the blackberries are ripe and I'll take you out for a mess of chiggers and ticks. You ain't really been in the south till you get you a mess of chiggers on your ankles and legs.
