Big vacation ride
So where's everyone heading on there scoots this yr. for vacation? And how far away is the destination ?? My longest vacation will be in early June and I'm heading to the Bayou's of Louisiana to the U.P. of Michigan It will be about 3K miles in two weeks. Gotta take time to enjoy the journey.
Next year it's it the big 6-8 week trip to Alaska and back

Things are shaky at work right now, but I'm hoping to make it to the BHO meet in June, (approx 1400 miles), and a ride to Maggie Valley and the Dragon in August. (approx 1800 miles). Both estimates are round trip mileage.

Wish I had that kind of free time. I'll hit the BHO run and I usually get a few other quick weekends, but nothing extended. Not til the kids are old enough to ride anyhow.

I've been through most of it a time or two. I made it to Escanabe for the state Hog rally last year. Only place I haven't been to is the tip of Copper Harbor and thats my destination this year. I've got some great pics from Christmas and had the grand kids convinced I was hooked up with Santa. It worked great till they got older

I was hoping to get a long ride in. I'm not sure it's gonna happen.
The plan was west from Chicago to Wyoming then south to New Mexico and back. Stoney, you'll love western North Carolina and eastern Tennessee. Gorgeous country. See wheels through time while you're in Maggie Valley. Dan, Jimbo and I stayed farther south in Bryson City at the Ridge Top Motel. It was a nice place and a convenient location.

You forgot one critical word Zerk- "us". I'm not sure you would want to see someone my age at Hurley!!
