Not realy shur what would have best sound and perfomance,what I realy like is goose neck drag pipes which I plan on putting on my sportster this spring with the power cones for back presher.I like load and rapy!

Vance & Hines make some awesome exhaust products, IMHO. I'm currently using Vance & Hines Dresser Duals and Vance & Hines Slash Cut Slip-Ons on my FLHTCUSE...... .

ive experemented with stock header with different mufflers.
mine is a 02 sportster converted to 1250 with 10:1 and s/e 497 cams with stock heads and stock 2-1 header. carb jetted and run s/e air cleaner.
stock muffler is too restrictive, punched out plug is better but sounded crappy.
tried a shorty glass pack (cherry bomb) sounded great, performed good but looked funny.
currently have a vance and hines sportbike muffler which sounds good, performs well and looks better.
am getting a complete supertrapp 2-1 system with the real supertrapp muffler. seen on ther bikes and looks killer. fully adjustable for power but i have no idea how its gonna sound.

Love the sound and the look. Had to put on new pipes as they wouldn't fit the 1992 year pipes that were on the bike, so bought the V&H True Duels as well.

My exp.was the vance&hines pro 2into1,really peped the evo up. But like the sound fo my hooker steped toned longshots.
