choices for flhx

I am running s-e slip ons with a stage 1 air cleaner and pc111....just not loud enough for me. still trying to decide between rinehart true duals and a two into one system. I know the 2 into 1 is probably a little better performance wise, but I love the looks of the duals...any favorites? thanks, scott

I would go with the Rhineharts, the Rhineharts will probably give you just as much as a performance advantage as the 2:1 but with a little more punch in the sound department, although some 2:1's sound pretty awesome, I guess it's gonna come down to personal taste.

Oh yeah, welcome to the Hangout, go on over and introduce yourself to the rest of the forum.

Two into ones often don't give the owner the hop up he/she thought they would get. Some are very tune-able but I feel there are better set up's on the market for the money when the bike is almost stock.

One of my buddies at work really impressd me with the job he did on the stock mufflers for peanuts. He hollowed them out with a hole saw but they didn't sound right. So he inserted an 1 and 3/4 pipe down the center and swedged the end into the end of the muffler. Sounds great and looks stock.
