screamin eagle race tuner
just spent $4000 building a 113 twincam, adjusted a 103 map and had it running great except a idle issue. As I was loading a new map a friend turned the ignition switch off the bike and locked up the ECM. The ECM was ruined and since the race tuner wont work on any other ECM it has to be replaced too. The race tuner is a great asset to tuning but never interupt the programing while loading. Hope this saves someone from doing the same thing.

thats why i got a PC111, I fucked it up and unplugged it from my ride and was in the wind again..sorry about your luck , keep us posted..

Yep you lost the boot sector and it was all over, sorry to hear about it I tune car computers all day long and know exactly what happened, I also personally know the guy that developed the race tuner fror HD and any interruption during download usually smokes them.

Thanks for the info. BS that something like that would wreck, I though just have a bad file. I've only done it a couple times, so a novice. But seems a bad design.
