Battery installation
My 07 Ultra has the raceway for the wires right in front of the battery post. In general its a PIA to get out.
So I took a nylon strap from some bag I never used, and cut the ends off. Put it under the battery and lowered it in, with the ends up. Easy to pull out and adjust it while tightening the cables. My 01 FLHR is easy to pull out. Keep a telescoping magnet on hand to fish out the dropped battery bolts. WTF are they metric?

It does fit in my lawn tractor. I have my 01 battery in my Craftsman mower. I don't mow often, and its always good to go.

another thing about battery installation, if you take a ty wrap and fold it over , cut it off and stuff it behind the friggin nuts they will stay pushed up to get the bolt in, plus they can stay in they are nylon. small drop of blue threadlocker and a dab o grease should keep your battery bolts nice and snug and corrosion free.

Never heard of locktite. I suppose you could use dielectric grease. I think they do make battery cable grease.
A 10mm ratchetting wrench makes this easier. The Ultra is just a pain in the ass. Somewhere around 04 they put a big plactic hard wireway in front the battery. I think this also caused a difference in seats. Bolt on my Explorer is very corrioded need to do something before that leaves me stuck.
