495 in delaware, about 8-10 miles of straight 3 lanes next to delaware river. No cops, speed traps, cameras...nothing. Been there, Fast!

I once did 300 miles in three hours on the EG in West Texas, that included a couple quick gas'n goes without get'n off the bike.
We was fly'n! ....had the O'l on the back and we were get'n away from 4 days of 100deg all night long nasty humid August Heat.
Held the EG at 105-110 the whole time.

Did 115 one time didn't like it. 80 will make ya like a bug on a windshield and my scoot seems to me gettin awful light in the 3 digit realm. I usually
cruise between 70 and 80 on the big road 65 on the 2 lanes. Ain't in no hurry to become bug juice

Broke the century a few times. I don't care to anymore. Since I added the apes, anything over a hundred makes the front end feel too light.

service

just curious, if you regularly go 80+ mph, do you need to service more often? you know, instead of lube and oil at the intervals in the book, do you do it in shorter intervals.
I thought I was a fast rider, hittin' 80 and such, until I read your posts. / quEasyRider

Change my oil and filter every 3000 miles, now if you own a nighster and run syntecic nightster oil you never have to change it no matter how fast it will go, they're built for speed and bad ass
