I've got a Doherty Power Pacc on order. Seen some pretty good results from this setup.

some of those intakes look interesting but they use a screen rather than a regular filter. i dont think i could use any intake without a real filter. i like the setups that have a stack or radius built in.
the S&S is just a classic design, if not for the bigsucker ide have one of these...

click on the "new for 2009 Exotic Super Filter", they have stainless steel mesh filter to fit all their intakes.
The tests they run show better filtering and performance. |

I have the Doherty Power Pacc on my "07 Wide Glide. I really like how this thing is made--all solid aluminum--no stamped sheet metal. It has a built in velocity stack. I installed a ThunderMax ECM, the Power Pacc a/c and D&D Fat Cat 2 into1 pipe on my bike. Wow, what a difference in the sound and power.

Just an opion here but really you could have an air filter as big as the engine, it ain't the how big the filter system is its how big the throat of the carb is and how much restriction is in the carb itself for suckin in air. Also the mix with the slow jet the big jet all has to do with the amount of air getting to the pistons. Carb throat and jets = power, and one more thing the amount of air gettin out = exhaust.
