Ebay-- Bad Experiences

Had a bad ebay experience post it here..

I myself have never had any issue with ebay.

I am sure some of you have and some people should be a buyer beware.

I have to say in the past few years ebay has been pretty good with only one exception, I ordered a set of pipes from a major dealer on ebay and it took 2 months to get them, pay-pal handled it and I got my cash back a month before the dealer sent out the pipes, their loss. yep I kept them I am such a bas_ard, lol

personally, i've never had a bad experience with ebay. just have to be careful in your decisions. but, i know quite a few people who have had bad luck with american classic motors.

I bought what was advertised as 3 inch risers off of ebay phrom someone who had sold a number of bike parts. Mostly metric.

When I received the risers, the rise of them was only 1 inch. Granted the total length of the included bolts was close to 3 inches. I contacted the seller about the discrepancy and was informed that they "were just selling them phor a phriend". He hadn't even opened the box the "phriend" gave them to him in, so he wasn't going to give me a refund because his "phriend" made the mistake, not him. I threatened to report him to ebay, he refunded my money. He is no longer a registered ebay user under that name.

Bought a used front right disk off Effordables and it was below minimum thickness. I won the Paypal argument but was only told I 'may' be eligible for a refund if I returned it.

Not worth the trouble and would rather warn everybody off them.
