Pipes are done

Made these pipes yesterday and finished em up today. Still need to make some brackets for the upsweeps. I was going to paint them bar b q black but whne I saw the red at the store I had to give it a try. Next will be handlebars then modify the tank and make a jockey shifter.......battery mount, electrics, it just goes on and on

The point of this experiment in chopper building is to spend as little money as possible. So far I have been able to use stuff I had laying around and a bike that cost me 350 bucks. I had to cut up 3 sets of pipes to make those upsweeps but I didn't have any plans to use them anyway. The steel I had left over from my trike build. I spent 50 bucks at the swap meet for the seat, seat springs and a set of Triumph handlebars that I'm going to modify. It would cost me more than I have invested in this whole bike to chrome those pipes. Tomorrow I'm going to start on the bars and maybe a bettery box. Stay tuned...

Made these bars today out of a couple sets I had laying around. The biggest part is stock Triumph. Pics didn't come out to good this time. Ate a new holesaw making these bastards. Next....battery box and mount
