Failed install of hand controls

Got a chrome kit for my 07 Sporty hand controls from J&P Cycles. Installed it and all I had to do for the last step was to hook up the brake line to the master cylinder and that is where I got stopped. It turned out that the banjo bolt is too big to fit through my banjo fitting. Am working with a tech rep from J&P but I have a feeling that I'm going to have to send it back.

It won't matter as the master cylinder is a 12mm and my banjo fitting is a 10mm.

Jirehcycle has a reducer bolt for 12mm line to 10mm fitting, But I think you're talking about 10mm line to a 12mm fitting. A picture would be worth a thousand words on this one if you have one. If your banjo fitting isn't permanently affixed to your lines, you may be able to just change out the banjo fitting. Without a pic that's all I got... Good luck...

Just an update. J&P Cycles worked with me and I sent back the kit and they will send me a kit that goes to a duel rotor setup as that is what will work. J&P also waived the shipping fees. As it turned out Harley did put a duel disc brake master cylinder which is a 10mm on my bike which is a single disc setup and that master cylinder is suppose to be a 12mm setup. I will always buy from J&P they are a good dealer.
