I didn't know this, fired a few shots out of it and never cleaned it. Not its an excuse, I should have. There was rust in the barrel. I cleaned, but not sure what effect will be.

I like to think I took of my stuff when I was younger, but not as good as I should have.

I'd like to read up on proper shooting. I read last week about putting the target at the top of the front site, six oclock. I always put the tip on the target. So I need to try that.

I breath a few times, and then hold my breath when I shoot. But I don't think that is right.

What I need to work on is my after shot. I do ok,, but I feel like I flinch, so I should be able to do better.

Never, ever hold your breath. It causes your heart beat to increase as well as anxiety in your body. You want to achieve a state of calm and control, so when you squeeze on the triggar there is no jerk. You want a smooth fluid motion of your finger closing with a slight exhale as the trigger moves. You must reach a state of "one" with the weapon. Your flesh and the metal of the weapon must be "one".
