WI Castle Doctrine and more
Castle Doctrine, ending earn a buck, and a law pertain to vehicles are on the governors desk to be signed.
Castle Doctrine, takes the presumption of guilty off the home owner, if someone breaks in. Severely limits, the ability of them to be sued, which is probably why the bar assocation said people will be shooting trick or treaters and repairmen, though the liberal sentinel published it. In many states you have to retreat, before you can defend yourself in your home. Then you have people that were not that second guessing if you felt safe and how much time you had to react. The Castle Doctrine, assumes that if someone is breaking into your house they are up to no good. Also extends to your car. The shooting still has to be justified, you can shoot a guest in your home. It just says if someone is breaking in your home, you can assume they are up to no good. I don't think shootings will increase. It will just save people tons of money in legal fees and court costs. The Earn a Buck program, which sounds good, was you had to shoot a doe first. Was hugely unpopular. How would you like to come across a big buck, and not be able to shoot it, because you have to shoot a doe first? It just makes poachers out of people. Also hurts the sport. Some folks only want one deer, they don't need that much meat. SB228, allows a gun to be loaded in a stationary vehicle. But unloaded in moving. Currently, if you lean your rifle against a vehicle you are breaking the law. By law you have to lay your gun on the ground to unloaded it. I open the door and rack the shells onto the seat, and stand the gun against the vehicle quite often, which has made a criminal out of me. The bill will also allow people with disabilities to hunt from a vehicle. The bills have also had bipartisan support, of course you got a few people saying it will be the wild west, and people will be shooting there spouse and then claiming they didn't know it was them. Incredible year in WI.

You should plead guilty then if anyone ever breaks into your home and you have to shoot him. Also it would be ethically wrong to file for a carry permit. No more so then hypocritically caring illegally though. So its a wash.
This is the greatest time, I have ever known in WI. He may be the one politician, who actually did what he said he would do to get elected. When I came to WI, 8 years ago, I said it would only be for a nickel. Almost moved around the two year mark, but buying a home out of town has helped settle me. If they can get the taxes under control, I may stay. Though I already bought my retirement home. Maybe WI will be the winter home.

Darlene got her carry permit yesterday so she's legal to carry in Wisconsin.

Karen sent in for her hunter safety cert. She took it with her kid. Not sure if she will get permit or not. I hope so. I don't understand why anyone would not. But there are people who drive around without insurance and don't put money in there 401k.

Castle Doctrine was signed last week. No, it does not give you the ability to shoot trick or treaters, or recall pettioners, as some libs have said it would.
Zepneck, D-Milwaukee, is trying to pass a law, banning guns from gas stations. Which would pretty much render WI conceal carry useless. Just shows you how these anti gunners think. If criminals don't care that robbery is a crime, they probably don't care about illegal carrying a gun at a gas station, and the obvious, they probably don't have a permit. Its thought, that under the states current political make up, this doesn't have a chance. There was bi-partisian support for CC. Though this could be a sneaky way to repeal it, without actually saying you repealed it. Sent my application in last week, needed to get a copy of my hunter safety card.

Koch brothers is just a buzz word for you guys. They donated to Doyle and Democrats too, granted more to Reps.
Georgia Pacific is a big employer in Green Bay, good paying job. Mayor up there made sure to distance himself from Lena Don't you know who I am Taylor, democrat.\ You put in for a concealed carry permit, pretty hypocritical, since we would not have had it with Barrett, D, in office. Not to mention you have carried illegally. Hypocrite. I don't know if Walker will be recalled, I lean to not. All you have done is gotten signitures from people who didn't vote for him anyways. I think this recall is just a bunch of spoiled brats who failed to win an election, so they are trying again.
