server maintenance wednsday night
We will be taking the forum offline for a few hours Wednesday night to perform some maintenance on the server. This will start around 10 pm ct. I expect it will be offline for a few hours.

Thanks Chopper for your help. For the uninformed, Chopper's been helping me figure out why I'm having so many problems. It seems the main page keeps coming up as a "pop-up". He talks to me about Java....which I only know as a cup of coffee...and the problems IE cause. He's suggested I go to a browser I think he called Firefox.
Anyone use it? Is it easier than IE? Does IE go away if I use Firefox? What happens to all my bookmarks, passwords, and crap? Where do I get it?

I use firefox... lots quicker than IE, and less problems. I think it automatically transfers bookmarks, etc, but I'm not sure. Click the link here to get it.

Thanks Stoney! Will go to the site and check it out. Also got a text message from my son via cell phone. He says he uses Firefox. Later today he said he'll call and help me.....he's 22, so may or may not call.....LOL

Yep it will transfer your bookmarks for you. You will still have IE after you install firefox.
