Bike of the month August 2007

Heres my scoot. '04 Independence, 100" 100hp, 6 speed Trik Shift, 240 on the rear. Bought it in '05 used with 700 miles on it. It aint a lot but it's mine.

Ok, here's mine. Its a 2002 HarleyDavidson 883r that has been converted to a 1250cc with Screaming Eagle 497 cams, Supertrapp 2-1, Daytona ignition, and a Arlen Ness big sucker. Appearance items include a corbin low seat, front fender delete option, fork gaiters, blacked out front wheel and forks and rear fender struts, home made laydown plate bracket, home made turn signal relocator brackets, and lastly a homemade bigsucker cover. As far as suspension goes, in the rear i installed progressive 412 which measure 14.25". Frontend suspension has progressive springs and i also installed racetech gold valves and belray 10wt oil. For going fast i installed chainsicle rearsets and stuntme clip ons. the pegs are HD billet.
tires and brakes are stock issue. all work has been done by me.

I'll bite, heres my 72 sporty back when it was still clean
its mostly stock but I had the trannie rebuilt after the previous owner blew it up and I rebuilt the top end after the currant owner (me) forgot to check the oil. the paint is black flames over black with silver metalflake over the flames, hand made seat and never a drop of oil on the ground

My '04 Bagger. I've had it for less than 3 years and I've put over 36,000 miles on it. Not a show bike by any means but, I like it.

I'll give it a try.
2005 XL883L. Lick's short shocks, Progressive fork springs, floating rotors, CS tapered SO, Stuntme clip-ons and various parts from HD, JP, EBay, truck stops, etc. I trimmed this, move these and took off that. Drank a beer. Did it myself but then again, nothing complicated . Add a few cans of spray paint and this is what I got:
